Empire Poker - Review (Print this article)

Empire Poker is a skin of Party Poker (ie. Shares the same software, and pools player onto common tables) by far the biggest poker room on the internet, commanding 60% of all online poker traffic, you simply won’t find more choice in cash games, however they do not share all the tournaments, giving Party poker a slight edge there.

Software: The software is smooth and easy to use, while the blues and greens of the tables are pleasing on the eye. Everything is simple and clear to use, meaning you rarely get frustrated with functions that should be there but aren’t. Usually if you can find it anywhere on the internet, then Empire has it already. 7/10

Support: Currently email only. While responses tend to be fairly fast, they often miss the point or do not answer or read the question fully, meaning repeat emails need to be sent. Poker knowledge of support staff is not what it could be. 3/10

Banking: Fantastic choice of deposit methods, and payouts are usually very quick and credited within a day. 9/10

Bonuses: Empire have a standard $100 max welcome bonus, and there seems to be a reload offered nearly every month, that are easy to clear, requiring only 7 times the number of raked hands before clearing. 8/10

Game Availability: More choice than anywhere on the internet, Empire is simply huge and you’ll find the game you want any time of day, and a large selection of tournaments too. 9/10

Game Toughness: Again due to the sheer size of Empire Poker, they attract a wide cross section of poker players, leading to a wide spectrum of poker playing ability. While there may be easier games out there, you could do far worse than play you r poker exclusively on Empire Poker. 7/10

Total 43/60 (Print this article)
