Party Poker is by far the biggest poker room on the internet, commanding 60% of all online poker traffic, you simply won’t find more choice, or bigger tournaments anywhere.
Software: The software is smooth and easy to use, although the cheesy avatars and colour scheme wont be to everyone’s taste, this is still better than most of the competition in online poker world, with plenty of options such as a buddy list, and player notes that leave a visible tag so you know when you have made comments on that player. 7/10
Support: Currently email and telephone only, the live chat facility having been withdrawn in early 2004. While responses tend to be fairly fast, they often miss the point or do not answer or read the question fully, meaning repeat emails need to be sent. Poker knowledge of support staff is not what it could be. 4/10
Banking: Fantastic choice of deposit methods, and payouts are usually very quick and credited within a day. 9/10
Bonuses: Party have a standard $100 max welcome bonus, and also offer fairly frequent reload bonuses, that are easy to clear, requiring only 7 times the number of raked hands before clearing. 7/10
Game Availability: More choice than anywhere on the internet, Party is simply huge and you’ll find the game you want any time of day, and a vast array of tournaments. 10/10
Game Toughness: Again due to the sheer size of Party Poker, they attract a wide cross section of the poker playing public, leading to a wide mix in poker ability. While not as soft as some, there is plenty money to be made on the tables here. 7/10
