It’s fair to say, there is simply nothing like this anywhere online, the graphics are different class, your avatar can do chip tricks, and all manner of expressions, both physical and verbal. In addition you can even exchange player points for various items of clothing to fully personalise your look, and for special players you can even have a full “FaceGen” where your character is made to look like your own image!
When compared with anything else, it is impossible to explain as there is no online poker reference for PKR’s poker room. Simply put, you have to see this for yourself.
The only downside is that the programme is very resource hungry, so we’ll downgrade from 11 out of 10, to a simply 100% 10
Support: PKR gives a choice of Live chat or email. They have always been both knowledgeable and prompt, and in our opinion Live Chat exceeds phone support in any case, so we barely mark them down for this omission. 9
Banking: PKR Poker accepts Neteller, Click2Pay and FirePay, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, gift cards or pre-paid MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Solo and Moneybookers. It’s fair to say that this is pretty near impossible to beat, and transactions are prompt and hassle free. 10

Game Availability: PKR Poker surprisingly has a decent range of games. It seems that although peak traffic isn’t that high, it is certainly climbing, as evidenced by the frequent increases in their guaranteed tournaments of late. The games are certainly more predominant at the lower stakes, and as is the way nowadays there is a propensity towards 6 handed play, but the opposition is as weak as it comes. The only issue is that multi-table play, while possible, is also extremely tough, both from a technical capability issue, as the programme slows down gameplay dramatically when multiple tables are in use, and also from a gameplay perspective, as the flashy graphics make following more than one game tricky to say the least. 9
Game Toughness: PKR Poker has some very weak players at all levels, possibly up there with the weakest site online as of September 2007. However like Cake poker, the tournament play sees a whole new world of incompetence, but boy is it difficult to negotiate as any time you play a hand you can be up against three or four players with all manner of hands. You’ll easily make money, but watch out for those swings, they’ll be vicious! 10
