Poker Odds Charts

The Home Of Poker’s handy Poker Odds Charts will help you when those tricky decisions come around, showing the most common probabilities of all hands hitting, and also we have improving tables, where you see the chances of improving to a better hand with cards still to come. Finally we have an “Outs” chart, that gives the exact odds to the number of remaining outs you have post flop.

Our Hand Probability Chart shows the chances of flopping a hand in Texas Hold ‘Em, or indeed being dealt this hand pat in Five Card Stud. For all those of you who prefer to read this information away from the screen, there’s also a printable version of this page available...

Our Miscellaneous Poker Odds Chart, shows a variety of common hands, and the chances of being dealt these, or improving to specific hands. Note however, some differences from the chart above, for example, above we show the chances of any player being dealt four of a kind as 4164/1, however below, we show that when the player has already received his pair, the odds are only 407/1, as we already know part of the probability, and the odds are therefore that much shorter, so always bare this in mind, when you have your pocket pair, you are no longer a 4164/1 shot....

Our Poker “Outs” Table shows the number of cards you have available to improve your hand, and the odds of hitting these when both the Turn and River cards have still to be dealt, and when only the River card remains to be seen. Caution also needs to be exercised, as the card that helps you may also further improve an already stronger hand held by an opponent, this is known as a counterfeited out, and you should always be aware of this when making any decision on whether to bet, based solely on your own hand and the odds you have to improve, after all you may already be drawing dead.

This chart is more helpful in Limit games, where the maths is far more important, than in No Limit where implied odds of bets that could still be gained is that much greater, ie. In Limit you might only win one more bet on the River, whereas in No limit, you could possibly win all of your opponent’s remaining chips, so your chances of hitting need to be considered against not only the outs and their odds, but whether your opponent has many more chips to call off your hopefully nut hand.
